Mind Trip

I think the gimmick quality is good. When I do mentalism, I try to avoid weird object that looks like a magic prop. I can fold the gimmick and put inside my wallet. Also, there are ordinary gimmick and tear-proof gimmick, so I think I can use the gimmick for a long time. You can perform this trick to maximum 3 people, but you cannot repeat the effect. Even though the method is something that you would probably know and the effect is not repeatable, the gimmick is really well constructed and looks really normal. And everybody likes traveling. It is very easy to do the effect in the middle of the conversation. I highly recommend this.

I'm usually weary of mentalism effects because I'm afraid they are too difficult with too many steps to remember or with difficult methods that take a good amount of time to master through trial & error but this surprised me. It's a super simple method that takes a lot of work off the performer and allows you to focus more on the performance. The gimmick is really durable.

The guys definitely thought of everything when creating this. This isn’t necessarily a new principle, but it’s design and well crafted product make it a very solid thing to have for everyday carry or even a stage show. The paper used by the spectator cannot be under HEAVY examination, but this is something you shouldn’t worry about. They supply another sheet just for this issue if you’re worried about it.

The quality of this prop is fantastic! So well thought out! Perfect as an EDC and perfect for parlour/stage. This gets 5 stars. My only gripe is that I thought there could be footage of live performances in The tutorial. There are several different ways to perform this but I thought the teaching between the magician and creator was clunky and kind of rushed. They got there in the end but I thought they should have done more of describing the effect with demos first and a bit more concise. Felt a bit like you were dropping in on a chat between to magicians that assumed you already knew all about the effect. Felt a little lazy. However despite my moans this still gets 5 stars as the creator has really crafted a wonderful prop

So, the packaging is wonderfully retro, the sheet(s) are very well done (and of professional quality, like in a high-end magazine), and the method is devilishly easy to do! Magician or mentalist, stand-up, walk-around, on the street or on the stage, this a killer! Easily the best EDC I have purchased in a decade or more! 5 stars, or more!!

This seems to be flying under the radar. It’s excellent. Paper quality, instructions, the effect itself… it’s a complete winner all-around and I’m looking forward to future ideas and variations. Well done.
