NOTE: Red Keepers have been updated with a more durable Cartamundi B9 stock, perfect for workers, as well as a bigger, easier to read marking system to boot. The best just got better.
The most affordable & best-feeling cards we've ever had, are NOW AVAILABLE IN RED.
... and the best part?
Created by Adam Wilber, with the worker in mind, Keepers feel spectacular right out of the box.
Thousands of you from all over the world have been raving about the custom stock, finish & design of the originals.
These are a much improved incredible finish, but now marked..
Opening a standard deck is a chore. 20 minutes are instantly wasted breaking them in and smoothing the edges. A nightmare for any worker.
Where as Keepers feel smooth, as soon as you crack them open.
With a feel as soft as the splash of a gentle ocean wave. Keepers set a new expectation for what an everyday deck should feel like.
- Easier to read markings
- Feels broken-in instantly.
- Deep red color allows sharpie signatures to be seen.
Designed with the most common deck in mind. The Keeper Deck is an advancement of a superb classic.
The back color was specifically chosen to invite trust, and go un-noticed by your audiences. Perfectly complimented by the recognizable pips and faces of a standard deck, featured on the fronts.
With the only tweaks being a custom Keeper Ace of Spades and the faces of the Jack and Queen of Clubs. An everlasting tribute to the creators' beautiful Wife.
"SEEK NOT A LIGHTHOUSE, GREATER THAN THE HUMAN MIND"
Throw out those blunt-cut bikes. These are Keepers.
This is is my favorite deck I own, because of the way they handle. Literally like butter!
Love those amazing cards.
The moment you open them they are broken in.
and I love the marking system!!
Very nice clean deck, feels and handles great along side pretty much standard pips but a really really nice lighthouse back design, the marks are discreet but still very clear, my only gripes is they dont exist on a side that im used to, but waaay better markings than the kittens deck. Also this being a cartamundi deck, i hope they try out the E7 stock in the v.3
I really love the feel of these cards, and I love the box, and cards design.
Keepers is one of those decks that require minimum break in and with the recent changes in printing for durability, I'm actually really happy as I live in a more humid country so I need decks to be thicker and longer lasting.
I really like the B9 finish by cartamundi. The cards fell really good right of the box and they handle extremly well. Gotta say that the thickness of the cards is not standart, if comparing to USPCC. But you get used to it pretty fast.
Only one big issue i got with the cards. Even with the rework of the marking system, its pretty obvious and even a spectator can easily detect it.
It kinda bugs me, but I still highly recommend these cards. The Design is absoluty beautiful and the B9 Finish is really worth it.
I have the first version of the Keepers, and I loved them. One of my favorite decks. Recently, I decided to buy a brick of the new ones (I didn't know they were remade) and the decks are terrible. They are extremely thick and not broken in at all. I will not be buying these again, and feel like I have wasted my money.
I was very impressed by these cards. The price is right when bought by the dozen, the cards feel boken in but no overly so. The deeper red is visially appealing and I love the marking system. Some people have said they are to obvious but I've never been caught. I just wouldnt use this deck for any games. Typically I use Bycycle Elites but these seem to hold up better.
My only compaints are the ad card and duplicate. I by them in bulk so I can choose my own duplicate. And an Ad card isnt useful at all. Maybe a double backer and blank card.
I LOVE THESE CARDS!!!!! They are super fresh straight out of the box, and feel outstanding in your hands and the little surprises the come with the Keepers are perfect
I bought 12 of the 2nd edition Red keepers.
1. They're not broken into as soon as you open them.
2. The markings are easier to read, but it's also easier for the spectator to read.
3. It took me a good 30 minutes to break into these.
Over all they are really nice cards, but Adame Wilber destroyed Keepers for me. Because they're meant to be thin not super thick.
