Can I perform Scribe, even if I'm left-handed?

Yes. The SCRIBE gimmick has been designed to be fully universal. It can be used in either your right or left hand.

I have small/big hands. Will it work for me?

Yes. We designed this thing to be one-size fits all. Christian explains in the video instructions how to customize your gimmick to EXACTLY your hand size.

Credits for inspiration and development are given on the project, but we'd also like to credit Henry Slade as the first reference we can find to thumb writing, back in 1897.

We've also been notified that Guy Bavli had a similar idea to Scribe from 1997. Although Christian independently created his gimmick, we're more than happy to mention Guy's Super Writer Pro (now Wami Board), which uses a big clipboard and not a billet at fingertips. If you're looking for something bigger, maybe for stage, we'd implore you to check that out.

Great product; takes practice

Highly recommend, with the caveat that this isn’t easy. It’s easier than the alternative, but still takes practice.

Nice twist on a classic

This trick is not new, but the concept is. The billet holder makes this much easier to get clear writing. Like anything good it will require practice make it good, but that should be the case with even the easiest of tricks. I never used the writer much because I could not get it clear enough. After very little Ora the writing is clear and very legible.

Good with a little effort!

Still kind of hard (without much practice) to write with your thumb but this makes it much easier! Having a foundation makes it much easier! Needs some practice but still gtraet idea!

Easy to use. Easy to customize and I hate arts and crafts. Makes accomplishing this so much easier. Super affordable.

Scribe is a game changer!!

Just got my hands on this beautiful package and got to say even though I had a rough Idea on what it was gonna be I was still pleasantly taken aback by the whole package.After a couple of hours of practice I can safely say that my writing is stable and super legible.Still a long way to go though .
