This trick is great! Well, if you’re up for a challenge. Even the very first slight (the ‘flesh-holdout’) is quite difficult, at least for people that don’t have much extra skin or fat on there wrist. The quality of the coins is wonderful, the magnetic coins are super strong but fairly easy to pull apart. They’re also strong enough to hold through your hand or fingers without much problem. Overall, this is a great coin routine(s) but, they’re fairly difficult. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s experienced in coin magic, or anyone who’s up for a challenge and lots of practice. If you’re one of those people, THEN BUY THIS TRICK!
I bought this through the Danish seller Pegani.dk, which gave me a code to redeem here.
Thia worked wonderfully and I got the instructional video right away. I didn't get the coins as I already had them.
The process is easy and works like a charm!
As to the video itself it's a good instructional video.
The only downside is that if you, like me, get a bit annoyed with a heavy Danish accent, it can be a little much at times.
But as to how things are explained and shown, I can't complain at all!
Good stuff!
very strong magnetic coins. great for productions and vanishes. the tutorials by kim are clearly explained.
As I read through the comments one thing becomes clear. The coins are great but....... Every bad review is because so called magicians don't what to put in the time to make this look as good as it should. It does not matter how long you have been doing magic, everything worth doing takes time and dedication. Do you really think that Kim learned to do this over night? Nothing is "Easy To Master" only lazy magicians think so. Just think if a basketball player bought a pair of Lebron's shoes and then complained that he was not as good as him after a few hours or less of practice. Everyone would laugh at you. But not magicians, if they can't do the trick right out of the box then it's not worth the asking price. The coins are great and the teaching is even better. Will it take some time to master? YES! Is it worth the time? YES!
I really enjoyed getting this coin set and Kim is an amazing teacher. He goes into everything with extreme detail and different angles. Definitely worth the money, especially if you enjoy performing with coins.
I love coin magic , and although I love sleight ahead as any other move monkey like me , when I go out and perform this is one of the sets I use , why? Here are some points :
1.- it’s super easy to use
2.- even the very basic routine looks incredible
3.- you don’t need sleeves
4.- for a lot of routines you don’t need to be knowledgeable on coins sleights.
5.-clean display of al coins in play before and after
6.- it doesn’t matter if you have big hands or small hands or skinny fingers or even windows when you close your hands for a lot of the routines .
The explanations are clear , fun , and it’s just feels rewarding that after a day you are able to do some very impressive coin magic that otherwise would’ve take you years and years to accomplish something this visual. You won’t regret buying this.
I love this coins! So fun to play with and so many posibilities you can do with this coins! Some of the effects that are thought is a bit hard but if you take the time to get them down, you will have amazing routines!
I purchased the coins the moment they became available and I absolutely love them! I have very little coin handling skills and the strength of these coins enable me to do a lot of effects with full confidence as if I've been performing them for years. The only limitation I have rest in my inexperience of coin handling and not in the coins themselves. What is cool about that is, these coins will be right there by my side as I get better over time. I would love to see more videos of how others have used them. Great job!
I was first concerned about the quality of these coins from what I read on another site. When I received this particular set from Ellusionist I was extremely satisfied with the quality of my set. Every single coin looks exactly the same. The video tutorial is good and provides some cool routines. Any magician who gets their hands on these coins will have a blast coming up with their own routines. I've never seen its equal.
Despite the secret being mentioned in the ad this is going to be something you're going to have to devote some time too. I personally cannot get the skin hold out to work because my skin isn't cooperating so to remedy this I use the quiver coin holder attached to my belt and just "adjust" my shirt to receive the coins. There is a lot of great material here but you will need to practice. You will have to find certain positions that work for you in the self working goshman pinch. My problem is if the coin is too deep into my finger palm position that the pinched coin falls when rotating my hand back around. Again, this is something you will just have to overcome yourself and make it work for you . Once you do that it's beautiful routines that hit hard. Recommend this if you are up for the challenge.
