Some of the survey questions needed more options to answer. For example one might perform magic because of the joy in learning it, challenging oneself. The need to perform is there, but not for the reasons listed, more for affirmation and a sense of accomplishment. Occupation: what if one is retired, now a hobbyist, performs occasionally for friends and family? I could list other questions which needed more thought or latitude in the answers.

There should be a lot more options in this survey. I’m a professional magician but own a marketing agency by day. Many of the choices were too limiting. Just my FYI.

I view your videos to help make my purchase decision. BUT, I never get to see what it looks like at the end. How do you get out of it? Is there a gimmick in my lap, pocket, or wherever. Can the audience examine the cards, coins or whatever? Please show the end of the routine.

I love closeup magic for the thrill of fooling spectators with effects, right in their own hands. I am always amazed by the clever ways in which illusions, both large and small, are created to fool the audience. Both the clever methods of the props as well as the psychological tricks are fascinating to me!

I got a lady to shoot up out of her chair, and exclaim, “How’d you do that?!?”

Thanks Ellusionist!

I think a suggested linear trick based on what skills they use is a great idea.

This trick just uses classic palm.

This uses classic palm and adds a new level of complexity etc.

As you progress the routine gets harder and more complex but build on each other

Seems like a great idea that would prevent a new magician from getting in way over their head in difficulty and this can lead to slower progress or even a magician not continuing….
