I bought his because it was cheap and it looked very interesting. I really have to say it is super fun to practice after you get the hang out it and I've fooled so many people with it since I learned this trick. I love the way he taught how to do the moves and easily bortal Is a great rubber band magic for anyone who is interested in it.

A great and well put together tutorial. Detailed enough to go into things like rubber band recommendations and specific handlings and situations. Succinct enough to get all the information across in a short amount of time. The move itself is simple to learn. Just takes practice to make it look smooth.

I very much like this effect. I have always been a fan of rubber band magic for many years & Bortal is a very clever new way to do linking bands.

This is a great rubber band effect. It will take some practice depending on your current skill level with rubber bands. In my opinion there are better penetration effects out there, but for the cheap price, it is very much worth it. Also, get Joe Rindfleisch's rubber bands if you haven't already: they are THE bands that you want to perform with

this is worth a little more than 5$. it's definitely not Jake's life's work or anything like that, but the ideas presented here are incredibly useful. although he's only presenting one move in the video, it's like the double lift/spread cull of rubber band magic. just playing around with the idea for a while will get your creative juices going immediately. even if you don't find a use for it beyond the routine Jake presents, the routine (or at least parts of it) will become a perminant fixture in your set.

A little tough at first but totally worth it, after a couple of days i?m finally nailing the effect, i love that it can be done with a wristband since i always wear one. Really fun to do but it needs pretty elastic rubber bands, you won't be doing these with your regular office rubber bands.

Absolutely fantastic. Easy to learn, very well explained. I was unsure about the right angle to hold the bands at the end of phase 1, but it works so well! It blows mind. The best 5$ I spent this week! Thank you Jake!
