I went into this specifically looking for something I could perform that would allow me to incorporate folks with sensory issues or disabilities into my act.Being able to tie a story into this makes it 100x more impactful, and it is very much a right person at the right time event, but man, it hits hard when you can find the right time to pull it off. Would recommend again and again :)

I was not expecting the method. Brilliant and simple. Not difficult, but does take a little practice to be clean and invisible. Definitely worth the effort (like all good methods/tricks). Good instructional video.

The method and subtleties Juan teaches are great and allows you to create an extremely intimate & magical moment if performed properly. Like he says in the video it's a right time and right person kind of trick. You really shouldn't perform this to everyone in the room but just that one special person you think would it enjoy it the most.

I bought this for two reasons: I had been eyeballing it for months as an effect right up my alley. At the same time, I have been consulting for a friend who is producing an immersive theater show, and I thought this effect would be absolutely perfect for one of the characters in the piece. It is perfect on all counts: organic, intimate, off-the-beaten-path, easy to do (through practice is definitely helpful), and diabolically effective. The power of the effect is all in the presentation. It’s definitely not for everyone; and as Juan says in the tutorial, it’s very much “right trick for there right person *at the right time*” which I think frames it as something reliably special every time you so it (assuming you consider your performance moments carefully). Solid and beautiful piece of magic!
