This trick really surprised me. I would watch the video and could not even begin to figure out the method. Once you learn it, it is genius and very deceiving. Easy to learn. Worth the money. My family and friends cant figure it out 👏🤷 I love that 😁

Takes the blister effect to the next level!

I've been using blister effects ever since the original Pyro Perception and this takes that concept to a whole new level. This is the first time I've used one where the blister or "imprint" happens on the spectator. I haven't used the original "Impress" so I can't speak on that, but after having and using "Impress 2" It's automatically an EDC for me. I like that there are multiple applications for this.

So far those who I've performed it for were blown away by it. The fact that everything can be handed out for examination at the end is the icing on the cake. Yes you have to learn some handling techniques, but trust me it will be worth it.

I know some magicians who have refused to use blister effects because they aren't "believable", but in my experience doing blister effects for at least 20 years, it ALWAYS floors spectators. Other magicians have avoided blister effects because they would rather not use fire in their routines, so this solves that problem and then some. Not only does it solve that problem, it puts the imprint on the spectator. I can't stress that enough, the fact it happens on the spectator is a very powerful result. If you use the right banter and build up to it, it will blow them away.

As for the tutorial, it's decent. They go through a few different routines, but you will have to turn on subtitles to follow along if you only speak English. Don't worry, they did a good job making it easy to follow along.

With that said, I think there are endless possibilities for many different approaches and routines for this that go far beyond what they discuss in the tutorial. Get creative with it, there's so many ways you can use this and leave a true lasting impression, pun intended. Take your time with it, really get the handling down first before performing, and then you will be ready to knock them out with this killer effect. Absolutely love this.

Very Good!

The gimmick is very durable and high quality. It doesn’t match the sharpie cap color exactly, but it’s so subtle that nobody notices. It’s best to use a nearby sharpie or one the spectator has on hand.
